Naghmeh Nasiritousi is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Political Science, Stockholm University. Her research focuses on the institutional complexity of global climate and energy governance, issues of effectiveness and legitimacy, as well as the roles of non-state actors in environmental governance.

Her PhD thesis from Linköping University examined the roles of non-state actors in global climate change governance. The thesis employs data from the International Negotiations Survey to explore attitudes and opinions held by the diverse set of participants attending the international climate change negotiations on issues such as legitimacy and agency in global environmental governance.
