Nils is Senior Project Manager at adelphi, an independent think tank and public policy consultancy in Berlin, Germany. His research focuses on sustainable development governance, especially the sound management of chemicals and waste, and the United Nations. Currently, Nils works on reform options for the global governance architecture on chemicals and waste, in particular the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) beyond 2020. Furthermore, he has developed a proposal for a legally binding agreement to address plastic pollution and is engaged in additional projects. Before that, he worked as a post-doc on multi-stakeholder partnerships for sustainable development.
