Okka Lou is a researcher at the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) and a prospective PhD student at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. She has been working in the project “Klimalog” at DIE since 2014, which is part of the research programme on Environmental Governance and Transformation to Sustainability. In her dissertation she explores the impact of national institutions for sustainable development on sustainability performance, with a focus on climate change. Her academic background is in political science and public management as well as in development studies.
