Svetlana is a climate finance and gender expert with 15 years of experience and a postgraduate qualification in environment and resource management from the Vrije University of Amsterdam. Svetlana has been working with a wide range of organisations, including UNDP, UNIDO, EBRD, WB, IFC to assist with accessing climate finance from multilateral climate funds and increasing gender responsiveness of climate finance projects. Since 2018, she holds a position of the regional advisor to Green Climate Fund. Svetlana is studying the role of women organisations in transformative climate finance governance, including the impact of women engagement on climate finance disbursed by the UNFCCC climate funds.
