Theo Aalders

Theo Aalders is a Research Assistant at the Earth System Governance Project. He is based at the International Project Office hosted by Lund University, Sweden.

Theo did his undergraduate African Development Studies in Geography at Bayreuth University, Germany and studied M.Sc Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science (LUMES) at Lund University. He wrote his Master thesis on the politics of risk-scaling at urban rivers in Nairobi – a topic that summarises his research interest in risk studies, the politics of scale, Kenya and climate change. He furthermore struggles with Actor-Theoretical approaches.
